I believe that the roleplaying issue will be almost impossible to fix (even the suggested districts wouldnt be doing a whole lot, it might actually wind up as a place that the roleplaying populace b****** about the rest of the populace being retarded or something rather, not to mention that they would have to be open to all people, including idiots who would spam/abuse it just for fun) due to a few issues such as (but not limited to)- maturity levels and the amount of people who would actually rp often enough to justify a seperate place for it.

I do agree with a lacking storyline in prophecies (haven't bothered with factions), though the sections in ascalon, kryta, and the ring of fire weren't too terrible.

On a side note, I never felt like a hero anyways.

P.S. If you really wanted to rp it could wind up needing a dice (die), which is still outlawed in towns...good luck getting that reinstated.
Also I must agree about the naked dancing, especially the 'pool parties' pre-searing, it does kill the serious rp mood.

I understand dice can be helpfull. Why was it outlawed and why would it be difficult to put back in?

I'm not a real RPGer anymore...I just don't think I can get into doing it in an online format. But if i was going to get into it... I think a good thing to do is put in some semi-abandoned castles and places out-of-town, but close to the towns. That way, groups of RPGers can leave all the crap that happens in towns behind and gather in the instanced world.

Those exist already.

Theres the Ascalon settlement in kryta,a number of dwarf villaged in the shiverpeaks,kaineng is just one BIG city,theres a canthan village in the luxon area,Shing Yea has Aerie,and a village at Haijui Lagoon.

I may have misinterperted youre post but i thought you wanted a town where there could be RP'ed without interruptiong by having them outside real cities?
